Acute
Accentuate verb forms ending in -e, -y, -u, -as, -is, -os, -us, -in, and -en, and not other forms (including those ending in diphthong).
There is a tense with all forms of acute future: some are accented and others are not, depending on the termination.
- Ballas / shall dance / dance / Balls / Ball1/ dance
In other tenses, only part of the forms are acute: each form is accented or not according to the termination.
Examples:
- Past simple (acute form): Balls / Ball.
- Imperfect subjunctive (acute form):
