Andalusia’s Electronics Sector
Sector Overview
Item 3: Sector address of Andalucia
Small and Medium Enterprises
1 Small and medium enterprises: The first electronic sector SMEs engaged in Andalucia exclusively in the repair of electrical and electronic component sales. Later, SMEs have diversified their activities, such as repairing, assembling, and selling computers and computer components, mobile phones, and custom applications software.

1. Cellular Structure & Function
Cell
The smallest living unit, responsible for metabolism, reproduction, and response to stimuli. Composed of a plasma membrane, cytoplasm (organelles, cytoskeleton), and nucleus. “Continuity of life is based on cells” (Week 1, Lectures [103], [109]).
Plasma Membrane
Structure: A phospholipid bilayer interspersed with proteins (integral, peripheral), cholesterol (for stability), and carbohydrates (glycocalyx for cell recognition).
Functions:
- Physical barrier
Computer Hardware: Binary, Bus Speed, Memory, and More
Binary to Decimal Conversion
Binary/Decimal:
- List the powers of 2 from right to left, starting with #1. Increment the exponent by 1 for each power. Stop when the amount of elements in the list is equal to the amount of digits in the binary number.
- Only if the digit is a 1, write down its corresponding power of 2.
- Finally, add all the numbers to get the answer.
Bus Speed and Width
Bus Speed: The number of bits or bytes that the bus sends in a unit of time (a second is the most common). For example, a 100

The Second Republic
Following Primo de Rivera’s resignation, Alfonso XIII attempted a ‘soft dictatorship’ by naming Dámaso Berenguer as Prime Minister, aiming to control society without fully restoring the previous regime. This discredited the Liberal Party, the Conservative Party, and the King himself. The PSOE (Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party) and anti-monarchical forces like the CNT (National Confederation of Labor) agreed to hold elections to proclaim the Republic, convene a Constituent Assembly,

Effects:
- Reserve or preferential right to re-entry.
- The suspension period will be considered as a general rule for seniority purposes.
- The maintenance of other rights and obligations of the employment relationship, particularly the duties of conduct: good faith.

Computer Architecture: Components and Types
The Architecture of a Computer
Computer architecture encompasses all component parts, their function, and the communication between those parts that allow them to work together in a coordinated manner.
Solution Background: Von Neumann Architecture
In the Von Neumann architecture, the program is stored in memory along with the data. The computer reads data from memory and interprets it as either a program instruction or data. Having a single bus makes the response speed slower, as the system cannot

Transport Layer
The transport layer performs two main functions:
- Expands the delivery system between two processes at the network layer to encompass two processes at the application layer running on end systems.
- Controls the transmission rate of entities to avoid or recover from congestion within the network.
The protocols of this layer oversee the process flow of data between processes. The application layer programs interact with each other without any obligation to attend to the lower layers.
