They are aborigine children, stolen from their parents by the white people to integrate them into the white people culture.

Means that everybody has the opportunity to create something to be someone.
Mr Rudd used it because of the aborigine people.

1. Who is Ananda and why did need Daniel’s help?
Ananda is Guy’s friend and she needs his help to plant trees.
2. What was surprising about the girl who was swimming?
She was Emily, the embassy girl.
3. Where did Daniel and Emily go and what did he like about the place?
They went to the Whites Beach and I don’t what he liked I don’t even care.

They sat on the beach and all was so romantic.

Is an annual music festival, one of the biggest annual cultural events in Australia and he went free because of Rick.
Chapter 2
1. Where did Rick take Daniel and why did Daniel object at first?
He took him to surf, Daniel objected at first because it was 6 am.
2. Describe the people in the café near the beach.
There were all sorts of people, some wearing suits, wetsuit, others, mats…
3. Who is Sandy and what did she offer Daniel?
She is the coffee server, and she offered to take Daniel on her boat on the weekend.
4. What was unusual about the first performance at Sydney Opera House and what does it show about the country?
Sydney Symphony Orchestra gave a concert for the 2,000 workers who built the Opera House. The workers were immigrants from Italy, Yugoslavia and many other countries. All of them dressed in their best costumes and brought their mothers, wives, and girlfriends for the concert

1. What do we learn about the early white inhabitants of Sydney?
They were English prisoners, people who had committed minor crimes in England and they were going to live for the rest of his life in the new land.
Many of them died after the disease and malnutrition. They were thousands of miles away from the homes and knew they would never be back home.
2. Why were only the minor criminals sent to Sydney and not the murderers?
Because England wanted to expand his empire and needed people to fill a new country. The murderers couldn’t govern a new country, so they sent people who committed minor crimes.
3. Who lived in Australia before the arrival of the English and how were they treated?
About 1500 Eora people, Era means ‘Here’ or ‘From here’
They were treated bad because they were different from the English people.
4. What was The Rocks known for in the 19th century and what happened to it in the end?
It is the oldest part of the town.

1. Where did Becky want to take Daniel and where does the place get its name from?
She wants to take him to the Blue Mountains and the name comes from the blue mists.
2. How did the three sisters become rocks?
Three beautiful sisters named Meehni, Gunnedoo Wimlah and the Katoomba tribe. Legend has it that fell in love with three brothers from the Nepean tribe.
The two tribes were enemies and were not allowed to marry, so the brothers tried to take women by force. There was a great battle and their parents, a witch doctor was afraid that his enemies cogieran their beautiful daughters and take them away away, so that turned into stone to protect them. But they killed him

1. Where did Guy take Daniel and why was Daniel amazed?
He took him to a coffee where they have seafood and Daniel was amazed
because it was cheap.
2. How did Daniel feel when he saw the humpback whale and what did he learn about whales?
He was amazed and he learned when the whales migrate.
3. What was Daniel’s routine when he was staying at Seal Rocks?
He woke up every morning and he went by bicycle to the beach and through the forest.
