Weekend Date, Home Description, Youth Politics & More

First Date

This weekend, I went to the beach with my friends. On the beach, I met a beautiful girl named Andrea. I spoke with her, and she was very nice. We have things in common; we both like the same kind of music and we both like to play tennis. On Sunday night, after I had come back from the beach, I invited her to the cinema. We had a good time and arranged to have dinner the next week. I am very satisfied.

Description of My House

My house is big and light. It is in the center of my village. There is a view of a park with swings, trees, and flowers. The house looks traditional from the outside. The most interesting thing about my house is my garden because it has a swimming pool and a barbecue where we cook meat. Inside, the house is simple and cozy. My house has two floors. On the first floor, there is a kitchen, a living room, and a toilet. On the second floor, there are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a study room with a big table, a computer, and a stereo. On the ground floor, there is a garage and a room with a hearth.

Politics

Most young people are not interested in politics because they ignore all the relevant facts about it. They think that politics is uninteresting. Sometimes, young people don’t know that politics affects our lives. Politics is responsible for our education, coexistence, and health. All people must be interested in politics because if politicians do something that we do not like, we cannot complain. Both young and old people must vote. In conclusion, I believe that it is the government’s responsibility to bring politics to young people’s attention. This way, we can achieve harmony in a better society.
