Understanding the UK’s Parliamentary Monarchy

The United Kingdom government is a parliamentary monarchy. That is, it has a King or Monarch, but the government is a group of people who are chosen by citizens.

The system of this country does not have a written constitution, but it is made up of a group of ordinary laws that are being approved. This permits modification without needing to have large and expensive methods.

On the other hand, the monarch is the head of the State and his functions are only representative. He also has the title of the Supreme Governor of the Church of England.

The Legislative Branch: Parliament

The legislative branch is in the hands of Parliament; its headquarters are in the Westminster Palace, in London. This is bicameral and each part is organized in a different form.

The House of Commons

The Commons is equivalent to the Lower House of other countries. This is formed by 650 members, who are chosen by universal free suffrage every five years.

The House of Lords

The House of Lords does not have a fixed number and its participants are not elected by the citizens. There are two types of Lords: the temporary, designated by the monarch (the majority are lifetime positions), and the spiritual, twenty-six components of the church.

Filmmaking: A Beginner’s Introduction

Getting Started with Filmmaking

Get a camera. Many independent filmmakers have used economic cameras and managed to make movies that looked professional. Decide the type of camera that you need and the type of camera that you can afford. Prices range from many thousand dollars. Decide how you want to edit the movie. Mac computers come with iMovie and PCs with Windows Movie Maker, which are editing programs that permit editing the duration, mixing the sound, and even adding the credits.

Look for a place to record. To record an epic movie about outer space in your bedroom can be difficult. Look for an exterior that you have at your disposal and think about the stories that can develop in that place.

Make a visual story. The majority of movies are visual stories, so the first step consists of having an idea that you want to convert into a movie.

Think of movies that you like to watch and the books that you like to read and consider what makes them interesting. Is it the characters, the action, the visuals, or the issue? Whatever it is, keep it in mind to plan your movie.

Key Roles in Filmmaking

Production

The cinematographic producer is the manager of the organizational and technical aspects of the production of a movie. He is in charge of personnel contracting, of the financing of the works, and the contact with the distributors for the diffusion of the work. If his task is limited to any punctual aspects of the technical or creative process, he is called “producer”.

He is also part of the area of the director of production, the executive producer, the boss of the locations, and the assistant of the production.

Direction

The cinematographic director is the professional who manages the shooting of a film. He is responsible for the staging, giving instructions to the actors and to the technical team, taking all the creative decisions, following his style or personal vision. Supervising the set and the wardrobe, and all the other necessary purposes to lead the shooting to a good outcome.

Chelsea FC: Antonio Conte Gives Team Three Days Off

After the wide margin (4-1) of Watford over Chelsea, Antonio Conte has given three free days to the Chelsea squad, as “The Sun” said. The English tabloid confirms that the London football players didn’t come to work until Friday before playing against West Bromwich the next Monday.

“I am not uneasy about my job. Every day I give 120% and if it isn’t enough the club can take a decision they think is the best, but I am not uneasy. I can be Chelsea’s coach or not, what is the problem? Life continues,” confirms the Italian. He also had words for his players, who were attacked with the question. “To play in a big club you must have personality. It is easy to play when there is confidence but in these moments you see who are ready to play in a big club,” he said.

The third defeat in the last four matches, having won two of the ten past matches, has caused all the alarms to go off at Stamford Bridge and put in question the continuation of Conte. The “blues” are fourth, 19 points from the leader Manchester City.
