1. Story Writing

The Fox and the Crow

Once there was a hungry fox. He wandered through the forest in search of food. One day, he saw a crow sitting on a tree with a piece of meat in its beak. The fox got an idea to get the meat. He looked at the crow and said, “You are very beautiful, but I don’t think you can sing.” The crow felt proud of its beauty and wanted to prove that it could sing. It opened its mouth and started singing. As soon as it opened its beak, the piece of meat fell to the ground. The clever fox quickly picked it up and ate it.

Moral: Beware of flatterers.

2. Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence, or AI, is a technology that enables computers and machines to think, learn and perform tasks like human beings. It is being used in education, health, communication, transportation and many other fields. AI can save time, provide quick information, help students learn and make difficult tasks easier. It can also help doctors diagnose diseases and businesses work efficiently. However, AI has some negative aspects too. Excessive dependence on AI may reduce people’s creativity and problem-solving skills. It may also cause job losses and privacy problems if it is misused. In my opinion, AI is a useful technology if we use it wisely, responsibly and as a tool rather than depending on it completely.

3. Email About Unmanaged Garbage

Subject: Request for Proper Management of Garbage in Our Locality

To: The Concerned Authority

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to draw your attention to the unmanaged garbage in our locality. The streets, open spaces and public places are often covered with waste. Garbage is not collected regularly, and people are forced to throw it in open areas.

Unmanaged garbage creates serious hazards to public health. It produces a bad smell and provides a suitable environment for flies, mosquitoes, rats and other disease-carrying insects. It can spread diseases such as diarrhoea, cholera and dengue. It also pollutes the air, soil and water and makes our surroundings dirty and unpleasant.

I kindly request the concerned authority to take immediate measures to solve this problem. Garbage should be collected regularly and disposed of safely. Separate dustbins should be placed at suitable public places. People should also be encouraged to separate biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste. Recycling and composting should be promoted. Awareness programmes should be conducted to encourage people not to throw waste carelessly.

I hope the concerned authority will take necessary action soon and make our locality clean, healthy and safe.

Yours faithfully,
A Concerned Resident

6. Role of Gen Z in Reducing Corruption

Gen Z can play an important role in reducing corruption in Nepal. First, young people should develop honesty, responsibility and a strong sense of civic duty. They should refuse to give or accept bribes and should report corrupt activities through proper legal channels. They can use social media responsibly to spread awareness about the effects of corruption and promote transparency. Gen Z should also learn about laws, rights and responsibilities so that they can identify and oppose unfair practices. They should support honest leadership and participate actively in community activities. Digital technology can be used to promote transparent services and reduce unnecessary intermediaries. In my opinion, corruption can be reduced when young people become responsible citizens and demand accountability from institutions.

7. Film Review: 12th Fail

Film: 12th Fail
Director: Vidhu Vinod Chopra
Genre: Biographical/Inspirational Drama
Language: Hindi

12th Fail is an inspiring Indian film directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The film is based on the real-life journey of Manoj Kumar Sharma, a young man from a poor background who dreams of becoming an Indian Police Service officer.

The story shows Manoj’s struggles, failures and determination. After facing difficulties in his studies and personal life, he does not give up on his dream. He works hard, learns from his mistakes and continues preparing for the civil service examination. The film also shows the importance of honesty, friendship, family support and perseverance.

The performances are natural and convincing, especially Vikrant Massey in the role of Manoj. The direction and simple storytelling make the film emotionally engaging. The film does not depend heavily on action or special effects; instead, it focuses on the character’s struggle and determination.

I found the film inspiring because it gives an important message that failure does not mean the end of life. It encourages viewers to work hard, remain honest and continue moving towards their goals. I would recommend this film to students and anyone who needs motivation to overcome difficulties.
