Why, if you have money, do you have better education? If you have a lot of money, you can pay for a public school or private school, which are usually better. Moreover, there are many good state schools in England, where you have one place if you live near them. Then, the people with money buy their houses near their favorite schools. Also, in England, there are grammar schools. These schools are free, but the children have to pass an exam to log in to the school. For this, parents with money can pay for external academics to help their sons pass the exam. Therefore, people with money can normally have a better education.

Differences Between Public Schools and State Schools

The differences that we can find are many:

  • First, in public schools, the pupils practice sports like rugby or hockey. You cannot see these sports in state schools.
  • Also, the uniforms are more formal, and students wear them properly, whereas, in state schools, the uniform is not expensive, and the pupils wear it as they want.
  • Moreover, supposedly, the teachers in public schools are better than in state schools.
  • Another thing that normally happens in state schools is that pupils wear jewelry and makeup, whereas, in public schools, children don’t wear them.
  • Also, if the pupils have had bad behavior, they have sports. On the contrary, in state schools, pupils have severe punishments for bad behavior.
