San Felipe Castle: An Ideal Visit for English Students
The Perfect Visit
The aim of this report is to recommend the San Felipe Castle in Ferrol as an ideal place for our group of English students to visit.
Defensive Art
Firstly, the Castle was built in the sixteenth century. Located at the entrance to the estuary, it is a fortification that protected the arsenals from any enemy attack.
Secondly, it contains several defenses. It is worth highlighting a chain that closed the passage of the ships to then fire with its batteries of cannons. Finally, it contains religious paintings and sculptures from the Gothic and Baroque periods.
History Behind the Walls
On the other hand, the castle can be visited either individually or with a guided tour. Students will enjoy discovering the naval history of Ferrol, especially the time when it was a global maritime power. The visit will also allow them to admire the architecture of the castle, and our local history because in this fort a British attack took place which was repelled by the masterful Ferrol defense.
Conclusion
In conclusion, a visit to the San Felipe castle will give our visitors the opportunity to discover a unique building. It will also allow them to see art treasures from our city’s past.

Dear Mr. Alonso Toscano,
I have decided to write you this letter because my friends and I booked the library last week and it was not as well as we expected. The facilities were different than they look like in the photographs on the website. Chairs and tables were in disrepair because they had an old look and many of them were broken.
I would like to expose another problem. When we tried the group room we noticed that the heat was broken. It would not be a problem if the weather was not winter and the temperature outside was not below zero degrees.
The experience could have been so much better, but we were very upset, so we asked you to refund the booking we made. We hope this matter is resolved within the following weeks and you do not try to cover up these situations.

Possible Improvements for the Next Open Day
Development
The open day was an absolute success, however, there are some activities that could be changed and others, which it is better to improve. The day started with the presentation of the main door, Carles I to the parents. After that, a route was prepared by the students that included some spaces with activities.
The Activities
When the presentation was over, the activities could be chosen by the families in the order that they wanted. One of the first, was the boat trip by the river to Tenlochico. With no doubts, the trip was the moment that the families liked the most, and they could feel what the students do during the boat days. Once the activity finished, the next chosen was the concert. It is said that the people were delighted about the performance of the band, but the time was short.
Alternative Activities
Apart from those activities, it is known that people wanted to do other action activities. One of the most commented on by the relatives was the virtual shot. Next year we will be able to introduce this alternative activity. Another task that could be significant to do is to show people the way to operate with first aid in combat. This is an option that could happen at any moment.
Conclusions
After taking into consideration the totality of the options, it should be a change in the activities, or improved others to get the best next open day of the years.
