Personal Reflections: School, Hometown, and Favorite Destinations
My School Life and Learning Environment
My school is not very big, but it is full of life. Every morning I walk there with my friends, and we always talk and laugh before the classes start. The building is old and yellow, with big windows that let the sun come inside. In spring, there are flowers all around, and the playground smells very nice.
Inside, we have classrooms with posters on the walls and a small library that I like a lot. My teachers are kind but also a little strict sometimes. My favorite subject is English, because I can learn new words and speak about many things.
I like my school because it feels like my second home. Sometimes I get bored, but most of the time I have fun and learn something new.
The Best Teacher I Ever Had: Mr. John
The best teacher I ever had was Mr. John, my English teacher in secondary school. He was tall and always wore funny shirts with colors like red or blue. He had a big smile and eyes that looked very kind.
He always started the class with a joke, so everybody felt relaxed. His lessons were never boring. We used to play games and speak about songs or movies in English. He said that learning is easier when you have fun. He was right!
I felt very good in his classes because he never shouted or got angry. He made me believe that I could do better, and thanks to him, now I like English a lot.
Life in My Hometown Near the Mountains
I live in a small town near the mountains. It’s quiet and friendly, and everyone knows each other. The streets are narrow and full of old houses with red roofs. There is a big square in the center where people meet and talk.
On Sundays, there is a market where you can buy fruits, cheese, and bread that smells delicious. In summer, we celebrate a festival with music and fireworks. Everybody dances and eats together.
I like living here because it feels peaceful. The air is clean, and the nights are full of stars. Sometimes it is a bit boring, but I wouldn’t change it for the city life.
Summer Vacation Memories in Valencia
Last summer I went to Valencia with my family. It was a very sunny and hot city, with many people and a lot of energy. We stayed near the beach, so every morning we swam in the sea.
The water was warm and blue, and I loved walking by the sand. We also visited the City of Arts and Sciences, which was very modern and beautiful. I took many photos there.
I really enjoyed that trip because we ate paella and ice cream every day. The nights were full of light and music. I hope to go back again next year!
A Person I Admire: My Wise Grandmother
The person I admire most is my grandmother. She is 78 years old but still very active. She has short white hair and always smells like flowers. She wakes up early and starts cooking or working in her garden.
She tells me stories about her life when she was young, and I love listening to her. She is very wise and patient. When I feel sad, she always knows what to say to make me smile.
I admire her because she never gives up, even when things are hard. She teaches me to be strong and kind. For me, she is like a hero.
Recommended Local Spot: The Beautiful Blue Lake
Near my town there is a beautiful lake called “Blue Lake.” It is surrounded by trees and small hills. In the morning, the water shines with the sun and looks like a mirror.
Many people go there for a picnic or to swim in summer. There is also a small café where you can drink lemonade or eat ice cream. I often go there with my friends on weekends.
It’s a peaceful place where you can relax and forget your problems. If you visit my area, you must go to the Blue Lake — it is simple but very special.
