My Best Friend Mario: A Lifelong Connection
I would like to talk about my best friend Mario. I am so lucky to have him. Without him, I would not be as happy as I am now. I have known him for my whole life. We are neighbors, so I see him often.
Mario’s Personality and Appearance
Mario is small and slim. He has a small head with bright blue eyes and small ears. He has long brown hair, but he usually wears a cap. He is very strong; he goes to the gym regularly.
He always seems to be in a good mood. We have nearly the same hobbies and sometimes the same opinions. He always brings out the best in me by being positive and cheerful.
Trust and Friendship
He is like a part of my family. I trust him as much as I trust my close family members. I find him very honest; he always says what he thinks.
We are really close to each other; he can tell if I’m lying even if I am keeping a straight face! I don’t know how he does it!
I don’t know how it is possible, but I am never bored with him.
I hope our friendship will be long and won’t ever end.
Reflecting on the 2006 FIFA World Cup
It was the penultimate World Cup, and it was celebrated in Germany.
Spain, my country, participated with a theoretically good national team, but in practice, they failed because they were knocked out by France (which finished the championship in second place).
Spain vs. France Match Analysis
In the match between Spain and France, Spain scored the first goal, and we all thought that they could win and get to the semifinals or even the final. However, France demonstrated that it was a better team and finally won 3-1.
As usual, we thought we would be the champions in theory, but in practice… We didn’t learn the lesson, so journalists and supporters still believe that we can be the champions at the next Euro Cup.
My Favorite Music: Rap and Suite Soprano
My favorite kind of music is Rap. I enjoy listening to artists like Kase O, Rasen, Beltrán, Suite Soprano, and many more. I also like Dubstep, for example, Hardwell or Alesso, but I love Tori Kelly too; she is a pop singer.
Focus on Suite Soprano
My favorite rap group is Suite Soprano, known for songs like “Perdidos,” “Suave,” and “Estás aquí.”
I love their songs and their performers, Sule-B and Juancho Marqués.
They recently released a new album called Domenica. This album has great songs featuring other rappers, including Cheb Rubén, H Roto, and Tutto Vale. I love the album, and next week I’m going to buy it at El Corte Inglés.
In January, I went to a concert with them in Fomento with two friends who also like Suite Soprano. I really enjoyed it.

- My mother is 45 years old and works as a doctor.

I love them both very much.
I have a horrible little brother and no sisters. His name is Jorge. He goes to the same school as me and is 8 years old. He loves playing football, video games, and annoying me!
My Hobbies and Dislikes
I like playing basketball and going out with my friends. I don’t like school because I have to get up early to go.

The Strange Story of Paco’s Budget Holiday
Paco González once told me that he’d planned a four-week holiday, but he didn’t have much money.
The Delivery Plan
He told his parents that he would visit them the following week in Jamaica. He then told a delivery company that he wanted to send a parcel the following day. He wrote his name and address on a box and packed himself inside!
The delivery driver said that she’d never carried such a heavy box before.
Arrival in Jamaica
In Jamaica, Paco climbed out of the box.
The driver was furious, and she said that she was going to phone the police. But Paco’s parents were delighted, and they said that they were very pleased to see him there!
