Personal Journeys: Travel, Study, and Sports
A Trip to Cadaqués with My Friends
Introduction:
Last summer I went on a trip to Cadaqués with my friends. We wanted to spend a day together because we had been very stressed with school. I had never been there before, so I was excited to see the town and the beach.
Development:
When we arrived, we liked the white houses and the calm streets. Then we walked around and took many photos. After a while, we went to the beach because it was very hot. The water was cold, but we swam and played with a ball. Later, we climbed some rocks to see the sunset. One friend almost slipped, but nothing bad happened and we laughed a lot. Soon after, we ate our sandwiches and rested on the beach.
Ending:
Finally, we watched the sunset together. In the end, it became one of the best days of my summer because I felt relaxed and happy with my friends.
Why Bachillerato Is Hard for Me
Introduction:
Bachillerato has been very difficult for me. I knew it would be harder than ESO, but I didn’t expect so much work. From the first week, I realised that I needed to change the way I studied.
Development:
My problem is that I get distracted very easily. While I am studying, I start thinking about other things or looking at my phone. Then I lose time and feel stressed because the exams are close. Sometimes I sit for one hour, but I learn little. After a while, this makes me feel frustrated and tired. However, I am trying to improve. I make simple study plans, I leave my phone in another room, and I try to study with friends when I don’t understand something.
Ending:
In the end, even if Bachillerato is hard, it is teaching me discipline and responsibility. I believe that with effort I can finish it successfully.
Learning to Ski: My Personal Challenge
Introduction:
Last winter I decided to learn how to ski. For me, it was a big personal challenge because I had never tried it before and I was afraid of falling, although I wanted to do something new.
Development:
On the first day, it was very difficult. I fell many times and I felt bad because other people were better than me. Then the instructor explained how to stop, turn, and control my body. After a while, I started to improve and feel more confident. My friends also helped me. The next day, I could go down a small mountain with control. I felt proud of this progress.
Ending:
In the end, learning to ski taught me to be patient and to never give up, even when something seems impossible.
My Judo Experience
Introduction:
Judo has always been part of my life. I started training because I wanted to do a sport, and soon I realised that I really enjoyed it. Over the years, I trained a lot and improved slowly.
Development:
One of the most important moments in judo was when I competed in the provincial championship. I was nervous, but I fought with confidence. Soon after the competition started, I won my first fight, and then the second. I reached the final and won, becoming provincial champion. Moreover, I went to the Spanish cup. While the level was very high, I tried to win. Eventually, I finished 7th in Spain, which was a big achievement for me.
Ending:
In the end, judo taught me discipline, effort, and never giving up. These experiences made me stronger and more motivated.
