Memorable Travel Experiences and Future Plans
Past Vacations: London
I had never traveled abroad, but this year, my mom gave me a trip for my birthday; we went to London for six days! I had always loved London. I had seen a lot of photos and videos of it, but I never imagined I would travel there! We had never flown before, so when we were on the plane, we were so scared! Finally, after two hours of flying, we arrived in London. Everything there was different: quiet, green, peaceful, and fun! The people who live in London are generous and quite shy; they helped us a lot.
Past Vacations: United States
Last summer, I went to the United States. I stayed there for 40 days with my dad, my mom, my grandparents, my sister, my brother (if you have them), and all my cousins. The first four days, we went to a village called Wellow. The hotel was really small, and I had to sleep with all my cousins. It was really funny because we didn’t sleep at all, and at night, when my family was sleeping, my cousin Tom, my brother Peter, and I went out of the hotel through the window. We walked for two hours, got lost, and at 6 a.m., we found the hotel and ran to our beds.
Ten days later, we went to Edinburgh, and we saw a football match in the stadium. I went to Belfast and Cardiff too, but the best part was our last days in London. It was a very beautiful city, and we went to a lot of famous places: Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, Kensington Palace, Tower Bridge, and Big Ben. My favorite was the London Eye, but I loved them all. In Piccadilly Circus, we saw some musicals and theaters. It was the best experience of my life.
Future Vacation Plans
On my vacation, I’m going to go out with my friends to parties, the beach, the park, and the mall, see movies, play football, and go to the disco. If I can, I’m going to visit my grandmother and grandfather because I haven’t seen them in a long time. I think my family is going to travel out of the city; I think I will go with them. I hope my friends wait for me in my absence because when I get back, I would like to go out with them and have a picnic. Well, my vacation plans are really simple, but I’m sure that I’m going to have fun.
Plans for the Following Year
I think that the following course will be tougher than previous years, but it is normal because it is a higher level. Maybe next year, I will have to retake some subjects from the first year because I haven’t studied that much this summer, and some subjects will be pending until next February, but if I study hard, I will pass them. Probably, I won’t go to university because I want to have a break, a year off traveling around Europe with my best friend, who is one year older than me. During this tour, I will be able to learn different languages, and after this trip, I would like to look for a job, preferably as a psychologist, but to do all these things, first I have to pass all my exams to begin with my plans.
A Memorable Camping Experience
My family used to go camping in the woods every summer. For some reason, we stopped doing this when I was quite young, and I really don’t remember a lot of details – except for one particular trip. It happened when I was about eight years old. After we had set up our tent and eaten, we got into our sleeping bags, and soon we were all sleeping. Then, during the night, it began to rain. At first, the noise was quite pleasant—that was until the first drop came through the tent. That drop was followed by another. Before we knew it, our tent was full of water. Finally, cold, wet, and shivering, we packed our things into the car and went to look for a hotel. My parents were quite upset, but my sister and I thought it was a fantastic adventure. Looking back, that was the summer camping trip I enjoyed the most.
My Best Concert Experience
Last year, I went to the concert of my favorite band, McFly. The day was pretty fun; while we were in the queue, we met many people, and they were very friendly. When we entered the concert, everyone was running like crazy. When the opening act sang, everyone was very quiet, but when McFly came on, everyone sang and danced. I photographed everything while they were playing; the photos were amazing. When the concert finished, my father was waiting for me at the door. It was difficult to see him, but I finally found him. And after living the best day of my life, we came home. I will remember this day forever!
