3 THINGS I WISH I HAD KNOWN BEFORE I VISITED SPAIN

Spain is a beautiful country. The people are lovely. However, I wish I had had more information before I visited.

1. Mealtimes:  When you arrive in Spain, you encounter one cultural barrier at meal times. Spanish people eat very late.

2. Two kisses: Another culture clash that we met, is that people always greet each other with two kisses.

3. Language: Depending on where you travel, you can find different languages other than Spanish, for example, Catalan, and Valenciano.

That is why I write this blog, so that people can see what I do and what I think about travel, the good and the bad.

Comment, like, and subscribe to the blog to know more about my trips!

3 misconceptions about the Spanish culture I’ve recently heard of/learned about

1. Flamenco:  Foreigners love it AND THINK it’s a popular traditional dance all over the country, but it’s not true !

2. Spanish people have dark hair, skin, and eyes: So wrong. There’s a huge variety when it comes to the way Spanish people look. THIS IS NOT ABOUT CULTURE!

3. Paella:  Usually, people relate paella with seafood, but it doesn’t contain such a thing most of the time! In fact, it contains different meat instead of seafood or only vegetables.

In conclusion, I believe people should travel more in order to expand their knowledge and be correctly informed about other countries and cultures and not assume so many things.

3 MASSIVELY IMPORTANT THINGS I WISH I HAD KNOWN BEFORE I VISITED UNITED STATES

The USA is a country where you may have more life opportunities. The USA has 50 states, it is located in America and when the last year I went to the USA I was so impressed for:

1. Everyone shakes hands when they meet. So maybe you try not to take two kisses.

2. Weapons are legal so you may have to be alert. Because this country has many crazy people.

3. Everyone eats more fast food than healthy food. So you can see many people that are obese.
