Major Plans Required in the Organization of Information

Feasibility Study: Investigates the costs and benefits of long-term uses of computers and recommends when to use them or not.

Plan Changes, Modification, and Update: Specifies goals and activities to be performed to achieve the changes and amendments, independence, timing, responsibilities, and restrictions when the organization makes the decision to make substantial changes to software, hardware, communications, or peripheral equipment.

  4. The plan of information system applications.

Project Plan: This is the basic plan to develop a certain system and to ensure that the project is consistent with the goals and objectives of the organization and those outlined in the master plan.

  3. Identify resources required for each task.
  4. The sequencing of activities.

Security Plan: Insurance, contingency, and recovery in case of disaster.
