Gap Years, Laughter, On-Demand TV, and Global Warming
What Would You Do If You Were to Take a Gap Year?
People who take a gap year don’t go to university, but they do other things, from traveling to working.
There are a lot of reasons why you might want to take a gap year. It is an opportunity to gain professional or personal experience, achieve specific goals, or explore personal interests. Moreover, it allows you to travel and make many friends from distant places. You can spend time with your family or learn languages, for example.
To sum up, taking a gap year allows you to learn to appreciate unusual things in your life. It isn’t only fun, but also productive and meaningful.
Why Do You Need to Laugh More Nowadays?
How Can It Help Us Enjoy a Happier Life?
Laughter is one of the best medicines we can take against any kind of pain or discomfort. More and more laughter therapy workshops are being opened to make people laugh.
Many studies confirm that neurotransmitters called endorphins are released when you smile, and they make us feel happier and less stressed. In addition, your muscles relax and tension is released. “People who laugh a lot can live longer”, said Dr. Villagrasa in a conference. But most important, laughter is contagious. If we laugh, we will be sending all the good things and making people happier in our environment.
To sum up, everyone should smile and be happy. This can improve your health or your relationships with others.
Your Opinion on On-Demand Movies or TV Shows
Nowadays, many people like having on-demand offerings to watch movies or TV shows. However, I don’t consider it useful because I watch very little TV. I only watch the news or fashion shows. In addition, it is not free; every month you have to pay for it. Most movies and TV shows can be accessed on the Internet without paying any money to see them. Besides, people often have problems because they can’t see every channel that they pay for acceptably.
To sum up, I don’t consider it effective to have on-demand offerings to watch movies or TV shows because it is expensive, and you can see them online without any problem. I would rather read a book or go out with my friends than stay at home watching TV.
Consequences of Global Warming
What if Correct Policies Are Not Adopted?
Nowadays, global warming is a very common problem. Humans are responsible for this increase in temperatures, but what can we do to stop that increase? What would happen if it continues to increase?
Every day, more and more people waste energy and pollute the atmosphere with the excessive use of vehicles or toxic gases such as carbon dioxide, methane, etc. Because of this, the Earth continually increases its temperature, the poles are melting, species are becoming extinct, and there are numerous fires and droughts. Furthermore, there are new diseases that have been causing the death of people.
If we want to keep the Earth alive for a long time, we must take care of and protect it, recycle, and save. If we all get involved, we would soon see beneficial results.
