Future of Spanish Youth, Wearable Tech, and Education

Future of Young People in Spain

What do you think of the future for young people like you in Spain?

Nowadays, the crisis in Spain is very extended, but it can disappear in some years. In a few years’ time, this crisis may still exist, and then young people would live in bad conditions in Spain because they wouldn’t finish their studies. If this situation continues, many people will feel obliged to abandon the country. On the contrary, if the crisis disappears, life in Spain will be better because there will be money and jobs, and the unemployment figures will reduce. Consequently, it will be full of inhabitants. In conclusion, I hope that young people can work or study with help from the government and that this crisis disappears as soon as possible.

Economic Challenges and Career Opportunities

There are various reasons for the future for young people like me in Spain. However, owing to the lack of space, I will limit myself to, in my opinion, the basic one. In my opinion, at this moment in Spain, there is not enough work for all graduates due to the low demand for work; we are going through a major economic crisis and many graduates have to go outside of Spain for a good job with an acceptable salary.

But when Spain recovers from this economic problem, everything will be as before and many graduates will not have to go abroad. And maybe even graduates from other countries will come to Spain to find a good job because they will be going to Spain more than they are now.

The Future of Wearable Technology

What do you think of wearable technology? Has it got any future in your opinion?

Wearable technology has been around for years, and even more so in Japan and other parts of Asia many years before that. Cell phone watches have been around in Japan and China for quite a few years but haven’t reached most other parts of the world until recently (the past three or so years).

Other than recording video, medical monitoring, and a few other reasons, it is about time that more technological advances in wearable technology appear for mainstream use. I think that it offers functionality and uses for everybody, even for those who have disabilities, to be able to communicate and learn about almost everything around them. It also has functionality for personal, educational, and medical use.

Many other wearable technologies, such as watches and GPS tracking for runners, are not something everybody does or wants to do. The Sixth Sense isn’t for everybody, either, but there are many uses that would appeal to people.

Advantages of Multilingual Education

What are the advantages of multilingual education?

Multilingual education has been proven to help children develop superior reading and writing skills. Multilingual children also tend to have overall better analytical, social, and academic skills than their monolingual peers. Key benefits include:

  • Adaptability: Knowing more than one language helps children feel at ease in different environments. It creates a natural flexibility and increases self-esteem and self-confidence.
  • Cultural Appreciation: Children will develop an appreciation for other cultures and an innate acceptance of cultural differences.
  • Easier Learning: If your child wants to study more languages later in life, they will have a leg up. The differences in sounds, word order, stress, rhythm, intonation, and grammatical structures will be easier to learn.
  • Vocabulary: For related languages, such as Spanish and French, the similar vocabulary will make learning especially fast.
  • Career Prospects: Career prospects are multiplied many times over for people who know more than one language.
