It’s incredibly quiet here, especially at night. There’s hardly any traffic on the roads, unlike in the city. Another thing is that because of the tiny population, everyone knows everyone else. Luckily, the locals are incredibly friendly—always saying hello to us when we meet them in the street. That’s nice because, in the city, most people just ignore you!
I really like it here for a holiday. The peace and quiet help me relax and unwind. But I don’t think I could live here forever. There’s just not that much to do, whereas the city is full of activity. Besides, I’d miss all the facilities we have at home. It’s ten miles to the nearest supermarket here!

In a year or two, most of us will be finishing school and thinking about what to do next. We’ve got some tough decisions to make, right? Lately, like you, I’ve been asking myself the same question over and over again: does the perfect job exist?
At first, I thought the perfect job would have to be really well-paid, but now I’m not so sure. Most of the adults I know earn pretty good money, but they all look completely miserable! Fame and success aren’t the answer either. After all, how many happy celebrities do you know?
I decided I just want to be happy, whatever I do. Then I realised I knew the answer all along. I’m happiest when I do the things I love, and what I love most in this world is working with wood. So it’s simple: I want to be a carpenter. It probably won’t make me rich or famous, but none of that matters.
I’m not saying we should all be carpenters! But there is a perfect job out there for everyone, and it is doing the one thing you truly love. Go find your perfect job—I think you already know what it is!

The story begins in Kenya, where Jackson’s parents are tragically killed in a lion attack. Jackson’s only surviving relative is an aunt who lives in the Big Apple. He has no choice but to leave Kenya for good and start a new life in America. But how will he cope?
Although the film begins with a very sad event, once Jackson starts his adventure in New York, it’s just one laugh after another. The script is both hilarious and original, and there are a number of plot twists to keep the audience interested. This first-time director has got the most out of his talented cast.
I would thoroughly recommend going to see this film on the big screen. It will give you tears of laughter, and you will leave the cinema with a big smile on your face. Great entertainment for all the family!

Global warming is a very serious issue that will only worsen unless something is done about the problem now. In this essay, I will look at some of the issues it causes and how the situation might be improved.
The Impact of Climate Change
One serious problem is that weather patterns are becoming more extreme. We have already begun to see severe damage caused by more frequent and intense storms. Climate change also endangers wildlife. For instance, the disappearance of ice in the far north presents challenges for polar bears. Furthermore, extreme heat can result in drought, leading to a lack of food and water.
Potential Solutions
Steps can be taken to reduce pollution and reverse global warming. Simple measures by individuals, like recycling more and using public transport instead of cars, would help. Likewise, the government can play a significant role. It can invest in clean energy, improve public transport systems, and protect endangered wildlife by funding zoos and safari parks.

In conclusion, it is my belief that by taking these small but important steps to reduce pollution and protect wildlife, we can prevent global warming from destroying our planet.

Zermatt is a resort town in southern Switzerland, located at the foot of the majestic Matterhorn, one of the most famous mountains in the Alps.
Zermatt is a picturesque village with lovely houses, streets, and shops, as well as breathtaking Alpine scenery. It is quiet and clean because no cars are allowed. Electric buses, taxis, and horse-drawn carriages are the only forms of public transport.
The village is a world-famous ski resort with skiing available all year round. Visitors can also enjoy hiking, biking, or riding a cable car to the top of the mountain. Bars, restaurants, clubs, and casinos provide lively night-time entertainment. In summer or winter, Zermatt is unforgettable. It’s a great place to spend a holiday.

In Europe, several countries and cities have banned smoking in public places. However, in my opinion, politicians should do more to stop smoking. Personally, I believe that they should make it completely illegal.
Firstly, it is well known that smoking is bad for your health. It can cause many serious illnesses and shorten people’s lives. If smoking were banned, people would have longer, healthier lives. It would also help hospitals and doctors, as they would not have to spend so much time and money treating diseases caused by smoking.
Secondly, smoking pollutes the environment. Smoky places are unpleasant, and cigarettes cause rooms, clothes, and hair to smell. What is more, people create extra litter when they throw cigarette butts away.
To sum up, I think smoking is a very unhealthy and antisocial activity which should be banned immediately.
