Nature, The Best Healer
Nature provides great stress relief by enabling us to remove ourselves from the things that cause us stress in the first place. So if you’re struggling with depression or anxiety, visit a forest and focus your senses of sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch on our natural surroundings.
My Identification: An Educated Pakistan
I stand tall, with pride in my heart,
For I belong to a nation where dreams start.
My name echoes with a noble plan,
My identification — an educated Pakistan.
Not just in bricks, but in books we build,
A country where every mind is skilled.
Pens over weapons, wisdom over might,
Education turns darkness into light.
I see a child with a book in hand,
Her dreams stretch far beyond the land.
From villages small to cities grand,
We rise together, hand in hand.
A farmer’s son solving equations,
A maid’s daughter acing competitions.
This is the change that I believe,
An educated Pakistan we will achieve.
No one left behind, no mind ignored,
Knowledge is power, our greatest sword.
Not just degrees, but morals and grace,
Building character, lifting our race.
Schools in every distant place,
Laptops, labs, and learning space.
Teachers honored, and students free,
To learn, to ask, to simply be.
I dream of thinkers, builders, and guides,
Scientists with hope in their strides.
Writers with voices strong and clear,
Artists painting futures near.
Education for girls, strong and wide,
For a nation grows with all at its side.
No barriers of class or caste,
Equality in learning — change that lasts.
My identification is not just a card,
It’s a promise to work, to think, to guard.
To speak with knowledge, act with care,
And plant the seeds of progress everywhere.
When a student dreams, a nation wakes,
When minds are sharp, the silence breaks.
From literacy drives to coding in schools,
We redefine success, we rewrite rules.
With faith in books and hands held high,
We reach for stars beyond the sky.
No power on Earth can ever divide,
A people with knowledge as their guide.
I see tomorrow in children’s eyes,
No longer bound by fear or lies.
My pride, my cause, my lifelong plan —
To build and serve an educated Pakistan.
So here I vow, with heart and hand,
My identity is this proud land.
A Conversation About Rising Prices
Customer: Good morning! How much is sugar today?
Shopkeeper: Good morning! Sugar is 180 rupees per kilogram today.
Customer: 180? It was 140 just last month! Why are the prices going up so quickly?
Shopkeeper: Yes sir, prices are increasing every week. There’s a shortage in supply and transportation costs have gone up a lot too.
Customer: What about flour?
Shopkeeper: A 20 kg bag of flour is now 2,500 rupees.
Customer: That’s unbelievable! It used to be around 1,200 last year. How can an average person afford this?
Shopkeeper: You’re absolutely right. Even we shopkeepers are struggling. We don’t earn much profit, but customers think we’re overcharging.
Customer: The electricity bills are rising, petrol is expensive, and now food prices are out of control. Salaries stay the same, but expenses keep growing.
Shopkeeper: Exactly. The rise in dollar rates, taxes, and fuel costs – everything affects prices. Even locally made items are expensive now.
Customer: Is there any hope that prices will come down?
Shopkeeper: Only if the government takes strong action and controls inflation. Until then, it’s tough for everyone — buyers and sellers both.
Customer: It’s becoming hard to manage the household budget. Anyway, just give me half a kilo of sugar and one kilo of lentils today.
Shopkeeper: Sure sir. Let’s hope things get better soon. Allah help us all.
