Characteristics of the company as a system
Are open systems, are related to the environment.
They are technical systems are the people who have some knowledge and skills.
Are psychosocial systems, the people who are working in groups.
They are mixed systems, they consist of tangible and intangible elements.
These systems are organized according to a model of organizational structure.
These systems possess some characteristic functions for the achievement of predetermined targets.
These systems are harnessed to the achievement of common goals set beforehand.
These systems are variations in time, pass through a series of states.
These systems have some elements of self-regulation to prevent fraud on the objectives set beforehand.
The company as a system:
It is a set of elements arranged in a pattern of organizational structure, which has characteristic functions to achieve common goals set in advance, through a series of states or situations in time.
The company and the environment
Types of environment
General: affects all firms in a social environment alike, has the following characteristics: technological, cultural, social, demographic, economic, educational policies, natural resources and legal.
Specific unique to each company and have the following components:
Consumers:
Distributors of products and services.
End users of products and services
Suppliers:
Raw materials
Capital goods
Components
HR Suppliers
Competitors:
Front suppliers
Front end-users
Socio-political:
State intervention in the company
Political attitude towards the industry
Relationship with unions
Technology:
Search technology needs and business sector
New product development and improvement of existing
Objectives of a company
Definition:
generally defined and shared goals towards which progress has deliberately directed the attitude of a company
Function: is that activity or contribution of each element of the system business that contributes to achieving the overall objectives of the same
Economic: the economic benefits.
Technology: improving and developing new products and services to satisfy society.
Human and social: To provide human and personal satisfaction to the members of the company and the general public.


ITEM 2 SUBSYSTEM IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
Administrative function:
is responsible for the piloting of the company she was in high office or heads with the mission:
Harnessing the company to achieve predetermined goals
Govern the operation of various functions to achieve their stated objectives

Concept Management: is a sequential process by which life functions, d the company is planning the organization’s direction and d control the company.
Functions of administration:
Planning
is a rational process of decision making which sets company goals and elements of this and the actions necessary to achieve them
Organization: Planning is the formal structure of tasks, authority and communication within the human group of the company
Address: is the function responsible for influencing the human group of the company for a voluntary basis and forward to contributing to the achievement of company objectives
Control is a task of vigilance to avoid deviations in achieving the objectives set
Meaning of management direction and management
They are used to replace administration but its meaning is:
Address is a function of the administration responsible for influencing the human group to voluntarily forward and attain the objectives of the company.
Management:executive function is to plan organize direct, control and supervise the implementation of an industrial project with responsibility for the results.
Management is the management of daily activities or functions necessary for the operation of the company
Roles executives: roles to be played by anyone who is a manager, these are:
Interpersonal (conditional on the manager position held): leader, representative or coordinator.
Informational (conditional on information flow that drives): monitor, spokesperson or diffuser.
Decision (conditional upon the power they have within the company): Business, entrepreneur, resource allocator or troubleshooter.
Business decision:
Strategic: These are decisions made by top management, powerful and significant impact on the company, almost never have a chance to return.
Tactics are decisions made by bodies downstream reach and impact of media, besides the possibility of returning to the place of origin but with economic spending.
Operational: These are decisions made by the operational commander in scope and immediate impact with a clear routine matter of routine.
